.mobi domains sell for high price tags
Tuesday, October 16th, 2007A recent domain name auction at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conference in Miami featured a number of high price-tag domain name sales, including one million dollar domain name - computer.com sold for $2.2 million. Three .mobi domains sold for six-figure prices at the auction:
Poker.mobi - $150,000
Ringtones.mobi- $145,000
News.mobi -$110,000
This is suprising, because, as a TechCrunch post pointed out, this is a “domain many people might not have heard of, let alone used.”
