Daniel & Eli,
Sorry to catch you off guard with the email request at the end of the quiz. I just added an update to the post to make sure that people are aware of that before they invest any time in the quiz in case they aren't willing to submit and email address.

That doesn't give either of you back that time that you spent, but thanks for commenting so that I can save some other people the bad experience. And Eli - I hope you come back! :)

I agree with Daniel. That was very annoying...I think that I am going to stop reading your blog. Best of luck to you.

Hi Melissa,

Thanks for writing this blog. I follow it and generally find it interesting.

I took the quiz - and left a message at the end suggesting it was perhaps a little too long. Then the quiz pulled the classic trick of asking me for lots of details at the end in order to get the quiz result.

I feel quite cheated about that. I will not give my details to some random quiz engine online for no reason, and the whole "do the quiz and then we ask for all your details" technique is pretty lousy. I did not enter my details, and so I leave with the frustration of having answered a lot of questions that sometimes felt a bit gimmicky, without even having got the gimmick (in the form of a quiz result) to show for it at the end!

Not happy...
