If I ever get married, I would legally change my name, but as far as my byline and work, I will always be Dubie.
But having a family similar to yours -- we often speak of the Dubies with strange reverence -- it would be odd to also be known under another moniker.
Of course, as it stands now, there is no danger in that happening.

I did not change my name when getting married, because I was unemployed and was afraid that it would hurt my job search if former employers were contacted and didn't recognize my name. But 6 years later, I still haven't made the change. It really can be a dilemma for women today. I know I made the right choice for me, but I can definitely see both sides of the situation.

Another "Thank God I am a guy" moment. Don't have to worry about potential name changes and the like.
of course, you could have gone with Reyen-Chang, then we could call you RC to really confuse things.
