Hey Melissa, first — thanks for checking us out last night. I was perusing through the blogosphere looking for people’s take on the WebInno event last night and I came across your blog.

I would just like to point out that the iPhone and the many phones/browser to come that will be similar don’t make MoFuse irrelevant. To the contrary — they make us more relevant.

Sure the iPhone is great for browsing desktop websites on a handheld but it’s still taking something that was designed for 17" screens and making it viewable on a 1.5" screen. If the iPhone marked the end for the mobile-web than companies like Google, Yahoo and Bank of America wouldn’t be making iPhone specific sites — they’d just let their iPhone visitors see their desktop site.

In the end, the iPhone, etc will help increase the usage of the internet/web on mobile devices and lead to a greater need for mobile/iPhone specific sites.

Just thought I’d drop in and give ya my .02!
