A comprehensive list of new media sites, although Rhapsody, iTunes, and Amazon aren't very new.

Strayform provides an alternative way for artists to make money for new digital works. Rather than restrict and sell, artists fund and release. The total distribution costs are eliminated so we believe fans will pay less while artist earn more. In addition, the creation process itself becomes an interactive process, entertainment in itself. Funding also allows you to be part of this process.

We escrow funds upfront to protect both artists and fans. Should something happen and the product not be complete we refund all money to funders; we even eat the transaction costs. We profit by taking a 35% of successfully funded projects.

We also provide automated licensing services, so that if Coca-cola loves your song or video and want to include it in a commercial they can do a direct deal with you, again cutting out the middleman. We also take a 35% cut of this.
