Hey, cool article!

Please don't overlook my company. Emedia (www.emedia.com) is a premier lead generation vendor! We specialize in producing IT Leads using permission based email bulletins.

We have been in the USA for over two years now, but we have a 10 year track record of success in the UK (www.emedia.co.uk).

Here's a good third party article about our company:

Curious how you define "independent".

Virtually every white paper and webcast library contain commercial content assets sponsored by various vendors (these are not "independent"). Others contain content assets that are developed by independent research companies but sponsored by the vendor. In this case content is written from an independent perspective but still commercial in it's intent. And still others also contain content assets which are totally independent but intermingled with commercial content depending on the content area or taxonomy.

IDG Connect is a mix of all three simply because extensive research shows that at various stages of the purchase process buyers look for a variety of commercial, quasi-independent, and totally independent sources all based on the reputation of the source. IDG is fortunate to be one of the few surviving companies offering a fleet of long established and reputable global brands that offer truly independent content as the backbone for driving traffic and database response.

Anyone interested in hearing about the new INDEPENDENT research on content engagement and our new Engagement Intensity Index™ lead scoring algorithm should contact me at frank_cutitta@idg.com

I would throw NetLine (http://www.netline.com/), ITToolbox (http://www.ittoolbox.com/) and Ziff Davis Enterprise (http://www.ziffdavisenterprise.com/) into the mix, and can vouch for both FindWhitePapers and InSight24, having had some B2B lead generation success with both.

hi Vince,
Thanks for your comment and the addition of www.findwhitepapers.com - that's another resource that I wasn't aware of.

Anyone else? What other sites did I miss? - Melissa

"What I should have written was that KnowledgeStorm is the only independent library of IT content that also provides lead generation."

Melissa, that statement may be a little off as well. Find White Papers has been providing lead generation services to technology vendors for the past three years utilizing our research library that is geared towards IT professionals and business decision makers.

hi Cece,
Thanks for your response. I am familiar with On24 because your company provides the registration for the Ziff Davis eSeminars, but I was not familiar with this arm - Insight 24. Thanks for the link.

And you're right! What I should have written was that KnowledgeStorm is the only independent library of IT content that also provides lead generation. But it looks like that would have been incorrect, as well, since I was unaware of this rich media library from Insight24. - Melissa

Melissa, this is an interesting merger with respect to IT lead generation. But your statement that KnowledgeStorm was the "only idependent IT lead generation option" is not entirely correct.

My company has a division called Insight24 (http://www.Insight24.com) that focuses on lead generation for archived rich media content, such as webcasts, podcasts and videos. Insight24 is platform agnostic and publishing agnostic, so this would qualify as an idependent option whether for companies or to augment what publishers are currently doing.

Let me know if you're interested in learning more.

Best,
Cece
